Betfair

This Privacy Policy explains how the Betfair mobile application ("the App") handles information. We designed Betfair to work entirely on your device. We do not want your personal data, and the App is built so that it does not need it.

Information we collect

Betfair does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The App has no account system and no login. Any content you create in the App — such as entries, settings, scores, lists, or saved items — is stored only in local storage on your device and never leaves it.

Internet and third parties

Betfair works offline. It does not include advertising, third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or social-media trackers, and it does not sell or share data with anyone. If the App offers an action that opens a link (for example, opening a web address you chose), that action uses your device's own browser and is initiated only by you.

Permissions

Betfair requests only the minimum permissions it needs to function on your device. It does not request access to your contacts, precise location, or accounts.

Children's privacy

Betfair does not knowingly collect any information from children. Because the App collects no personal data at all, it is suitable for a general audience.

Data retention and deletion

Because all data stays on your device, you are in full control of it. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its data in your device settings, permanently removes everything the App has stored.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
